Exhibitor Guidelines
One of the main benefits of our core conference sponsor packages are the exhibition spaces. All Exhibitors get two full days to exhibit at Victoria Baths – Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th September.
These guidelines will talk you through everything you need to know to make the most of your exhibition space. But don’t forget our team are always on hand to answer any questions you may have.
KEY DATES
23rd Sept
Setup at Victoria Baths
24-25th Sept
Exhibition Days at Victoria Baths
THE VENUE
Victoria Baths, Hathersage Rd, Manchester M13 0FE
Getting Here on Setup Day There is a car park at the back of Victoria Baths which can be accessed via Bax Road (M13 0FT). This can be used on setup day if you are unloading anything particularly large.
Getting Here on Show Days The Victoria Baths Car Park will be closed on show days as this is used as the food court. Instead, there are a small number of car park spaces to the left of Victoria Baths on Bax Road (M13 0FT). However, we cannot guarantee these spaces will be available therefore alternative parking arrangements are advised.
Additional Parking Blue badge holders may park directly in front of the building. Otherwise there is on-street parking on Hathersage Road
SETUP
Your exhibition stand can ONLY be setup on Tuesday 23rd September between 3pm and 8pm. It is not possible to set up your stand on the morning of the festival. We therefore reccomend you bring more than one person to help you set up your stand as members of the MTF team are unable to help you do this.
Upon arrival please make a member of the MTF team aware that you have arrived. They will show you to your exhibition space and ensure you have all the information that you need.

KEY STAND
INFORMATION
You will be allocated a space of 2m (w) x 2m (d) x 2.65m (h)
Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors will receive a table sized 1.8m (w) x 0.77m (d), two chairs and access to a plug socket. Please note, we do not provide a table cloth so recommend you bring one with you if you require one.
Platinum Sponsors are welcome to bring their own stand/exhibition structure as long as it remains within the allocated space.
THE DO's & Don'ts
Manchester Victoria Baths is a Grade II listed building, which means alongside the usual event guidelines, we have a few do’s and don’ts we need to ask sponsors to adhere to!
PAT Testing
It is a health and safety requirement that all items are PAT-Tested. We cannot do this for you on the day so we ask this is done prior to any equipment being used in the Baths
Make your Stand Safe
If you are using a table cloth please ensure no cloth is trailing on the floor – clips are ideal! All packaging and boxes must be kept out of sight and cleared away once the event has begun – there is space under your table for this
Don’t Stick Things Down
You are not permitted to stick anything to the walls, pillars or the windows anywhere in the building.
Pull Up Banners
Pull Up Banners must be no wider than your allocated space and must not obstruct walkways. The stands sit below a balcony which limits the height of your stand and any pull up banners to 2.65m.
Check with us First
We must ensure that your exhibition space complies with health and safety, therefore you must check with us first if you are planning on bringing anything out of the usual to your stand such as drones, large bulky stands or items.
Keep it Clean!
We ask that you use the bins provided for keeping your stands clean. Any cardboard boxes can be disposed of in the large skips at the back of the building.
Inspiration Station!
So that’s the boring bit over and done with – let’s get down to creating your stand! You may already be an exhibition pro – but you may still benefit from some tips on how to make the most of your stand at MTF.
Merchandise (Swag)
Our delegates love free stuff but we recommend trying to think out of the box. You want swag that our delegated will really use – think Tote bags, Socks (yup!), chargers, USBc Cables and Adaptors!
Add a Game!
Our delegates love a game, over the years we’ve had hook a duck, spin the wheel and more! Use your higher value swag as your prizes to encourage people to play, or add a social media element to encourage brand engagement
Be Interactive
From TV’s showcasing your services, to actual demo’s of your tech – the more interactive your stand the better!
The Right People
From Job Seekers to Potential Clients, make sure you have the right people from your company at your stand to connect with our delegates.
Stand Up!
We notice that some of the best interactions happen when your exhibitors stand in front of the stand. It makes you more approachable – so push that table back and get into the crowd!
FAQ's
We know you may have questions about your stand on the lead up to the festival, so we have pulled together some of the most frequently asked questions. But as always if you have any ideas or further questions please get in touch with one of the team!
Yes, there is password protected WIFI at the conference. The details of this will be provided at your stand on the day.
No. It’s part of MTF’s policy that we never share attendee data with exhibitors or sponsors. This year we do have an event app which can be used to collect data at your stands. If you choose to use your own methods, we ask that any data is done respectively and the delegates are aware of what their data is being used for at the time of signing up.
Sure! There are two main breakout spaces at the festival including the Breakout Space and on long tables in the middle of the Tech Expo. We recommend you use these spaces to meet with individuals who want to know more about your business in a quieter setting.
