by the community for the community

Manchester Tech Festival (MTF) is a collection of conferences, events and evening socials designed for everyone in the tech community. Whether you’re an aspiring techie, an innovative CEO or anyone in between, MTF has something for you.

The pinnacle of MTF is our 2-day core conference held at Victoria Baths, complete with tech talks, workshops and a tech expo. Surrounding this are our specialised track days honing in on key topics such as AI, Cyber Security or Software Development.

Whichever events in the festival you choose attend, our evening socials bring together attendees to connect, share insights, and chill out over the day’s discoveries.

MORE ABOUT MTF

Manchester Tech Festival is designed to cater for all and is carefully curated to meet the needs of Manchester’s Tech community.

As always, our core festival takes place at the iconic Victoria Baths in Manchester. Across two packed days, the main stage will host inspiring keynote speakers alongside a wide range of talks and panels covering the topics that matter most to our tech community.

In addition to the main stage, we’re running a dedicated workshop space featuring eight different breakout sessions for hands-on learning and practical insights. Explore our buzzing tech expo, home to over 20 of Manchester’s most exciting tech companies, and don’t miss the Innovation Showcase — a chance to get hands-on with the latest advancements and emerging technologies.

Whether you’re scouting your next career move, seeking cutting-edge solutions, or connecting with the brightest minds in tech, this is the ultimate hub for real techies.

Our specialised track days span the two weeks of the festival and zero in on key topics, such as Leadership. These days complement our core conference and allow you to build a festival of events that matter most to you.

Each event features over 7 tech talks or panels, offering ample opportunity to dive deep into the day’s subject matter.

What’s more, our specialised track days attract individuals who share your interests, providing a unique chance to build your network with like-minded tech enthusiasts.

Hosted by our incredible sponsors and members of the community, the MTF Fringe calendar is packed full of workshops, meetups and mini conferences. Each event has its own unique angle but with the same MTF community vibe our attendees have come to love. Oh and did we mention all of our fringe events are free to attend!?

At the end of each day, we gather attendees from all our conferences for a relaxed evening social. This is your chance to connect with tech enthusiasts from across the UK, meet the day’s speakers, and reflect on the day’s topics.

Our socials are designed to be welcoming and inclusive, offering a variety of refreshments and plenty of breakout spaces to facilitate meaningful conversations and networking.

Because Manchester Tech Festival is made up of a number of tech events across the city and you can’t be in two places as once, all of the events are separately ticketed, meaning you can pick and choose the events most relevant to you!

We aim to make our festival as accessible as possible, and charge the minimum amount we can for tickets. That’s why each event is also individually priced.

Included in every ticket is access to the conference you choose, access to our evening social and access to the event app for upto 6 months following the event!

I’ve never seen a conference with such a high level of visible diversity and inclusion, and I’ve never seem so many delegates that were positively BUZZING from all of the inspirational talks and stories. What a brilliant, brilliant day.

Thank you to all the organisers, I can’t wait for next year!

So many ‘WIT’ events focus on how women need to lean in. They are all focused on how women need to change. My biggest takeaway from today is that we need to talk more about changing the system. Not about changing women in under-represented groups. Honestly the best conference I’ve been to for a long time.

The unfiltered requirement did not miss. Each speaker brought their authentic selves to that stage and very moving stories. Thank you all for your honesty and openness. Thank you for the most inclusive agenda I’ve seen.

You understood that representation would matter, and rose to the challenge!
