Manchester Tech Festival (MTF) is a collection of conferences, events and evening socials designed for the Manchester tech community. Whether you’re an aspiring techie, an innovative CEO, or anyone in between, MTF has something just for you.
At the centre of the festival is a two-day multi-stage conference, complete with Tech Expo. Surrounding this are a number of specialist single stage conferences, giving you the option to pick and choose an agenda that suits you.
Whatever events you attend, our laid-back evening socials bring together attendees from across the city and are the perfect spot to connect with fellow like-minded attendees, share insights, and chill out over the day’s discoveries.

We are over the moon to announce our headline speakers for MTF 2025! Ron Thompson Ex CDO NASA will be flying over from Washington D.C for a live Q&A! Plus Orlando Machado the former CDO of The LEGO Group will be joining us for his own live Q&A before joining Ron Thompson on a panel to discuss their experience of adapting to change and the future of AI.

Manchester Tech Festival is designed to cater for all and is carefully curated to meet the needs of Manchester’s Tech community.
As always, our core festival will be held at the iconic Victoria Baths in Manchester. Over two days, we’ll host two stages brimming with dynamic tech talks and panels on the topics that matter most to our community. Dive into the sessions that spark your interest and fuel your passion!

Our specialised track days span the two weeks of the festival and zero in on key topics, such as Leadership. This allows you to purchase tickets for the sessions that matter most to you.
True to our ethos, we deliver content that is raw, authentic, and brutally honest, with no topic off-limits. Each event features over six tech talks and two panels, offering ample opportunity to dive deep into the subject matter.
What’s more, our specialised track days attract individuals who share your interests, providing a unique chance to build your network with like-minded tech enthusiasts.
Hosted by our incredible sponsors and members of the community, the MTF Fringe calendars is packed full of workshops, meetups and mini conferences. Each event has its own unique angle but with the same MTF community vibe our attendees have come to love. Oh and did we mention all of our fringe events are free to attend!?
At the end of each day, we gather attendees from all our conferences for a relaxed evening social. This is your chance to connect with tech enthusiasts from across the UK, meet the day’s speakers, and reflect on the day’s topics.
Our socials are designed to be welcoming and inclusive, offering a variety of refreshments and plenty of breakout spaces to facilitate meaningful conversations and networking.
New for 2025! The MTF event app is a virtual environment which puts you in the centre of the festival! Log on, explore sessions and choose your own agenda. Plus! Interact with other guests, access pre-conference content, pose questions to our speakers and more! The best part? You get access to the app for upto 6 months after the festival where all of our talks will be posted so you don’t need to worry about missing a thing!

The pinacle of MTF is the Core Festival bringing you two days of the best tech talks submitted to MTF this year!
From the tech expo to free workshops and breakouts there is so much going on outside of the talks, that we are certain you will be spoiled for choice when choosing your itinerary.
Plus, with over 1000 attendees per day, there’s no other event where you can mix with such a veriety of people from our tech community. From CTO’s and HR Directors to Graduates and Software Engineers everyone is welcome!

Manchester Tech Festival is made up of a number of tech events across the city. Because you can’t be in two places as once, all of the events are separately ticketed, meaning you can pick and choose the events most relevant to you!
We aim to make our festival as accessible as possible, and charge the minimum amount we can for tickets. That’s why each event is also individually priced.
Included in every ticket is access to the conference you choose, access to our evening social and access to the event app for upto 6 months following the event!
