WELCOME TO MTF

Thank you for choosing to speak at Manchester Tech Festival! This year we had over 350 applications and after being reviewed by a panel of independent judges from Manchester’s most prevalent companies, we are delighted that your talk was selected!

Bigger than ever, this year’s core festival takes place across two weeks with your talk helping us to showcase the very best of Manchester tech and beyond.

Key Dates

Leading up to the festival we have a number of dates we ask our speakers to stick to! We are a small team and have over 100 speakers to assist. Sticking to these deadlines helps us out a great deal and we really appreciate your effort to help!

Preparing your talk

Whether you are a seasoned speaker or new to the scene, Manchester Tech Festival offers a unique speaker experience. We pride ourselves on offering our audience authentic and raw content, meaning we want you to be as brutally honest as possible with your talks! To help your talk be the best it can be – we have put together three guides covering all of the key points we ask to you to stick to when crafting your talk!

Not booked your place on one of our filming days?

Join us at DiSH Mcr to film a short promotional video for your talk! We’ll use it to build some hype around your talk and the festival across the website and social media!

Manchester Tech Festival is not a Pay to Play event‭, ‬whilst our sponsors will be provided a limited number of slots, our ‬speaking and panellists opportunities are mostly available to the community‭.

‬Our event is purpose before profit and therefore we will not reimburse expenses to ensure we can reinvest as much money into making our event the best it can be‭.

Sure! We have capacity to host upto 5 people on stage at one time. However as we need to setup the stage in advance, we ask you keep speakers to a minimum of 2 and tell us in advance! 

We understand that life happens! So don’t worry if you can’t make the festival anymore! If you have an alternative speaker who may want to deliver your talk let us know, we can’t guarantee that we will be able to accommodate a replacement speaker but will definitely consider it! 

You should have received an email confirming the stage you are speaking on during the festival. It will be in the email with the link to this page! 

If you cannot find it, don’t worry simply get in touch with us and we will confirm your stage! Alternatively you can check on our website! 

Not got your time slot? Don’t worry, because we are working with over 100 speakers we leave time slots to one month prior to the festival. This is so that we don’t have to keep amending agenda’s if someone drops out of the festival or plans change!
