Looking for an alternative community social?

Community and collaboration is the key to tackling loneliness and isolation. Each month we host a relaxed games night. We play everything from Monopoly to charades & pictionary, even the odd quiz with prizes.

As part of the social events that surround Manchester Tech Festival we’ll be having a monthly games night, an evening where you can connect with the tech community in a relaxed social environment,

Join us to play a variety of games such as:

Monopoly, Charades, Pictionary, D&D, Various animal-themed bingo, Card games and even the odd quiz with prizes!

There is also a PlayStation in the Comfy Nook which you are welcome to play and bring games for

(If anyone wants to play Cards Against Humanity then you are allowed to but we take 0 responsibility for any offence taken as that game gets feral)

This will be especially welcoming toward Neurodiverse folks or those who experience anxiety or a safe, calm and comfortable environment.

Bring your own snacks, maybe we’ll order some pizzas, and soft drinks are the idea.

(If you’d like to enjoy a quiet IPA no one will stop you but please be aware this is not an alcohol themed event).

If you are introverted or shy but would still like to feel part of it, you are more than welcome to turn up, play on your phone in the corner or just watch for the first few. There will be no pressure, no shame, no judgement.

This is a warm safe space for the community to enjoy some wholesome fun! Feel free to bring a friend 🙂
