At Manchester Tech Festival, feminism and social change are two of our main core values.

Our Women in Tech and Tech 4 Good day will embody these values, featuring talks and opportunities that showcase some of the leading women in tech, as well as tech companies and initiatives that are driving social change in the Manchester community and beyond. This day is ideal for you if you are a woman in tech or involved in a “tech 4 good” project, however we are also eager to welcome guests who do not fall into these categories but would like to expand their knowledge of both topics. Either way, you will be given the opportunity to develop your understanding of and involvement with tech as a social change innovator.

Victoria Baths

Victoria Baths, Hathersage Road, Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester, M13 0FE

When it opened in 1906, Victoria Baths on Hathersage Road, Manchester, was described as “the most splendid municipal bathing institution in the country” and “a water palace of which every citizen of Manchester can be proud.” After the baths closed, The Friends of Victoria Baths charitable trust restored the venue which is used as our main venue for the festival.
